Tuxedo | Suit Rental Timeline for Weddings

Timeline for Choosing Attire

He asked. She said yes. You've set the date. Now the fun begins! So much to plan it can be overwhelming. There are literally thousands of details to decide on and choosing the men's attire is only one of them. This is a simple timeline to help keep things on track for making the experience of dressing the men an enjoyable time.

3-6 Months - Once you have chosen the colors of the brides dress and the bridesmaids dresses you can start working with a company to coordinate the men's outfits. It really is never too early to start the process. Plus the sooner you make the final decisions, the sooner you can inform the men standing up for the party how much they will need to budget for the outfit.

1-2 Months - Make sure you give the men in your party plenty of time to get measured. Everyone if busy and being considerate with the timeline will be greatly appreciated. Plus the sooner everyone is measured, the easier it is for the provider to make sure all sizes and items will be available for your special day.

2 Weeks- Check with the provider that everything is in order. Go over pick up times, return times, any balances or fees that might be outstanding or incurred.

1-2 Days - Everyone should try on their outfits. This leaves time for any adjustments or alterations to be done before the ceremony.

After - Outfits should be returned within 1-2 days after the event depending on the company's policies. Most smaller family owned business will give you till Monday on a Saturday wedding, but the national chains will require it to be returned before close of the next business day. Late fees will be applied if you return late.

These are simple guidelines but are pretty easy to meet. Congrats!

Today more than ever, you must consider the way the fit will affect the way you feel in the tuxedo. Here are the three different types of fit available in todays tuxedos: Classic Fit -Classic is the term designated for the least trim of the three fits. It is also the most traditional and will look good on men of all sizes and shapes. This tuxedo typically comes with matching double pleated pants adding to the fuller look. Distinguishing The Father of The Bride With A Tuxedo Rental | Suit Rental   Dressing the escort or father of the bride is an important aspect to the wedding attire. After all, they will be the first person that your guests will see the bride with and should be dressed similarly to the wedding party. This topic my be a little biased for me. I am a father of 3 beautiful young ladies and I look forward to the day I am able to walk them down the aisle. I am always amazed when a bride has not given thought to what the person giving her away will wear. A lot of brides will have their fathers dressed in tuxedos or suits that are the same as the wedding party and use their accessories to really highlight them as a special person in the party. Neutral colors like black and grey are always a great choice because no matter who he might be taking pictures with his accessories will complement any colors in that photo. It also will work as a way to make him different than everyone else. S
