Choosing the Jacket Color

Choosing the color of the tuxedo jacket according to etiquette is determined by the time of day of the ceremony. To choose the color of the tuxedos by etiquette follow these simple rules:
Ultra-formal Daytime

Features a traditional daytime look with a modern twist. The groom dresses in an updated charcoal grey cutaway with pleated, striped, or matching trousers.

Ushers dress in matching stroller coats, which really sets the groom apart. Fathers have a choice of either style.
Formal Daytime
This is the most popular style for today's weddings, you set the style! The groom's choices include all types of formalwear in any color. Ushers can match the groom or utilize tail and tuxedo combinations.

Colored accessories compliment the bridesmaids' dresses, while the fathers choose coordinating formalwear. Guests are welcome to wear black tuxedos with fashion accessories.
Ultra-formal Evening

With this look, grooms can choose from a black, white, grey, or other colored tailcoat and matching accessories, or formal white. Ushers' style will be similar, with the most formal look sporting identical tailcoats. Vests and ties can be used to coordinate with bridesmaids' dresses.

Fathers can be outfitted identically to ushers or in matching tuxedos. As an added plus, "Black Tie Invited" is recommended for guests
Formal Evening

When you want to express your personal preferences, this look is the proper choice. Grooms can choose from a tailcoat, tuxedo, dinner jacket, or any of the new high fashion coat styles. Any color is acceptable, with light colors popular in the summer.

New fashion shirts, vests, and shoes can help you choose your individual style. The wedding party can be dressed similarly to the groom, but if the groom chooses tails to stand out the ushers may wear similar color tuxedos. Fathers can choose coordinating tuxedos, and guests are invited to dress black tie.

Ultimately, the choice is yours! You can’t go wrong. Your vision of how you want the men in the wedding to look is all that matters. Black is by far the most popular and conservative choice in today’s fashion, but grey is coming on strong! With the softer pastels popular in bridesmaid’s dresses, grey is an excellent choice to compliment the color scheme. A professional can help you choose the colors that will make your vision come true!

Today more than ever, you must consider the way the fit will affect the way you feel in the tuxedo. Here are the three different types of fit available in todays tuxedos: Classic Fit -Classic is the term designated for the least trim of the three fits. Distinguishing The Father of The Bride With A Tuxedo Rental | Suit Rental   Dressing the escort or father of the bride is an important aspect to the wedding attire. After all, they will be the first person that your guests will see the bride with and should be dressed similarly to the wedding party. This topic my be a little biased for me. I am a father of 3 beautiful young ladies and I look forward to the day I am able to walk them down the aisle. I am always amazed when a bride has not given thought to what the person giving her away will wear. A lot of brides will have their fathers dressed in tuxedos or suits that are the same as the wedding party and use their accessories to really highlight them as a special person in the party. Neutral colors like black and grey are always a great choice because no matter who he might be taking pictures with his accessories will complement any colors in that photo. It also will work as a way to make him different than everyone ...
